In the countryside north of Siena, in the heart of Chianti Classico, on the ancient Chiantigiana route just minutes from Monteriggioni Castle, prestigious Eighteenth-century villa with annexes and original chapel on over 3.5 hectares (9.3 acres) of private land with driveway, historic garden and typical woods. Villa Parigini was built in 1750 by the Sansedoni family and stars a classic quadrangular plan with three-arched loggias and porticoes, spread over two manor floors plus an attic. The interiors preserve great frescoed halls, a porticoed atrium, a central travertine staircase, and glass-fronted galleries overlooking the historic garden and woods. Each room retains evocative historical details, stucco decorations, stone busts and statues, double-height ceilings, frescoes and paintings, one with an authentic coat of arms. Overlooking a typical inner courtyard, are the winter garden, the former stables, the chapel, and former farm buildings with deposits and offices.
